We were watching The Morning Show and Esther Perel was asking Jennifer Aniston when she feels most alive...
And Jennifer said when she is working.
And I was thinking about when I feel most alive because a lot of times I drudge through my day and week and do not feel most alive.
I feel most alive when I am:
-running fast. It's actually not during my runs outside but when I head to a class at Stride on the treadmill and I've hit my groove.
-lifting HEAVY weights. Not when I am lifting 8lbs. No. I feel most alive when I am squatting and deadlifting. I am working my way up to 200lbs, and I feel most alive when I increase the weight.
-meeting with clients. I finish calls and feel so satisfied my program is helping them. It actually feels like I have a purpose in life.
-reading my clients' comments in my online course. Again I feel like my struggles have a purpose. I can help others. Sometimes I feel embarrassed about my videos and maybe people will hate them, and then I read a comment from a client about how the video helped them, and I'm like, ok, phew, you're good. Ya done good, Jaclyn.
