During class today, I was thinking about how grateful I was that I can show up and do something small instead of not showing up and doing nothing at all.
When you go to a Crossfit class, the expectation is you do the WOD. There's no place to just walk or stretch. Do something small on your rest day.
But at running class, some days I push myself to the max. (Friday!)
And some days I just show up and walk. I don't push myself. I'm checking the box and keeping the habit of being someone who moves their body in the morning. But I am also listening to my body and respecting my body by giving it rest.
Just grateful to have a space to do this.
