Give yourself compassion through the holidays. You're not going to be perfect, and that's okay. You don't need to use the holidays as a reason to eat in excess and feel terrible, but if you do eat in excess and feel terrible, you're not an awful human. You're not a failure. It's literally not the end of the world.
"What does it mean to be self-compassionate?
Self-compassion entails being warm and understanding toward ourselves when we suffer, fail, or feel inadequate, rather than ignoring our pain or flagellating ourselves with self-criticism."
