Your self-worth changes when you get in the driver's seat of your life. When you feel like things are coming at you and you have no control of anything happening in life, you feel crummy about yourself and like you'll never be able to achieve anything.
When you start taking small actions for yourself, you're able to build on those small actions and take on more things and start feeling confident in yourself. Start changing other areas of your life too.
10 years ago, I was a miserable person stuck in a career I hated and unable to eat well, exercise, or make any changes with anything.
Now I am in a career I love making great money. I have a business I love. I live on the beach in California! I am working on a goal of lifting 200lbs. My life isn't perfect by any means, but everything I have is because I started small ten years ago. And I decided to let go of things in life that were no longer serving me. My self-worth changed. I started believing in myself and seeing how I deserved better...
It doesn't happen overnight though. It's a long and boring journey... but it's so cool to look back on the last 10 years and feel good about where I'm at and what I believe about myself.
