I just feel really proud of myself.
The last 2 months without Jameson really shook me up, but running has been my rock.
Today I ran 5.5 miles. Amazing.
My knee, hip, and foot are not 100% but we're getting there. I was able to run 3.5 miles this morning at class.
A win is a win.
We got back from our trip and my body was feeling weak! Felt good to get in some sort of workout instead of doing nothing.
But I am really looking forward to being in my routine again.
I've been out of the house all week traveling and not in my usual routine... so a morning walk today will have to suffice. Something instead of nothing.
Thank goodness for 5P salads. They work at home when you're busy and they work when you're traveling.
There is that saying that showing up is half the battle.
Or the other one that success is 80% just showing up.
I think it's higher. I think it's closer to 100%.
I think a lot of us are not successful in the thing we want to do because we're not showing up consistently.

It feels good to start my day with a workout and melt the work day stress at the end of the day with a workout.

I get 8000 steps a day no matter what.
It's not a goal but rather just what I achieve every day.
Most days way more. Some days just that.
